Sensors is a new tab on every bare metal server, reading the board directly over IPMI. It shows CPU, DIMM, VRM, peripheral and system temperatures, the RPM of each fan, and the current IPMI and power status, with each reading coloured by how far it has climbed.
Heat and fan speed are usually the first thing to move when hardware starts to struggle, so the readings are in the panel rather than behind a remote console session.
