Both give you cPanel. The difference is what is yours alone.

Shared hosting refers to the type of service in general, not to any specific provider.
Your websites reach the internet over our own carrier network, from data centers in Barcelona, Houston and Miami. You can check it from outside in our public looking glass.

Words you will see
If this is your first hosting, this is all you need to know.
- Hosting
- The computer connected to the internet around the clock where your website lives. Here it is a server just for you.
- cPanel
- The panel where you manage your websites: files, email, databases and certificates, with buttons instead of commands.
- WHM
- cPanel's admin panel. This is where you create a hosting account for each website. It opens in your browser at https://your-server-IP:2087.
- Domain
- Your website's name, like yourcompany.com. You buy it from a registrar and point it to your server's IP.
- SSL
- The padlock next to the address in your browser. It encrypts the connection and cPanel installs it for free.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know about servers?
No. The server arrives with cPanel already installed, and in cPanel you create websites, email and databases with buttons. If you get stuck, open a ticket and we will help.
Do I pay for the cPanel license separately?
No. You pay for the server of the plan you choose and cPanel comes with it. Each plan's price already includes cPanel and the dedicated IPv4.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. At the registrar where you bought your domain, point it to your server's IP. If you prefer, you can manage the records with CubePath DNS.
Can I install WordPress?
Yes, you can install WordPress and other web apps from cPanel. If you only want WordPress and do not need cPanel, there is also the 1-click WordPress app.
How am I billed?
By the hour, with the plan's monthly price as the cap. The server bills while it exists, even when it is powered off, so to stop paying you delete it.
Is this managed hosting?
We take care of the hardware, the network and the cPanel installation. You manage your websites from cPanel, and our team helps you by ticket in English and Spanish.
Which plan should I choose?
Economy to start with one website. Basic for a company website or a small store. Recommended if you will run several websites. Premium if you host the websites of many clients.
Are there backups?
When you set up your hosting you can turn on automatic server backups, with up to 7 days of retention, for an extra fee. cPanel also has its own backup tool for your websites.
