CubePath next to Hetzner, OVHcloud, Contabo and DigitalOcean
These are the four names that come up in any VPS search, and all four do their job well. Here are the concrete differences, depending on where your users are and how you want to pay.
Comparison based on the providers' public information, checked in August 2026. CubePath figures come from our own pricing API.

Three differences that are hard to replicate
A server in Spain, not near Spain
Barcelona, a Tier III facility, with local egress through DE-CIX Barcelona. Of the four compared here, only OVHcloud also has servers on Spanish soil.
Miami, the gateway to Latin America
Egress through FL-IX, the internet exchange most of the region's traffic goes through. None of the other four presents a LatAm oriented location.
Our own network, AS26141
We announce our ranges with BGP multihoming at every site. You can check the routes in our public looking glass before signing up for anything.
And all three cost the same: gp.starter is $15.21 a month of compute, $16.71 with the dedicated IPv4, whether it runs in Barcelona, Houston or Miami.
Pick your plan and deploy
NVMe storage and AMD EPYC on every plan. Scale at any time.
| Plan | vCPU | RAM | NVMe | Traffic | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| gp.nano | 1 vCPU | 2 GB | 40 GB | 3 TB | $4.06/mo | Deploy |
| gp.micro | 2 vCPU | 4 GB | 80 GB | 5 TB | $8.11/mo | Deploy |
| gp.starterPopular | 4 vCPU | 8 GB | 100 GB | 10 TB | $15.21/mo | Deploy |
| gp.small | 8 vCPU | 16 GB | 200 GB | 20 TB | $29.40/mo | Deploy |
Monthly compute prices (hourly rate × 730). The dedicated IPv4 costs an extra $1.50/mo. The line goes up to 40 vCPU and 128 GB of RAM in Barcelona, and up to 48 vCPU and 192 GB in Houston and Miami.
Which plan should you pick for your project?
Every plan comes with AMD EPYC, NVMe storage, full root and DDoS protection. The only thing that changes is how much CPU and RAM whatever you run needs.
Docker and containers
4 vCPU · 8 GB RAM · 100 GB NVMe · 10 TB
8 GB is the point where you stop fighting the OOM killer when you bring up five or six services with their database, and 100 GB of NVMe holds the build cache without wiping it every week.
Deploy gp.startern8n and automation
2 vCPU · 4 GB RAM · 80 GB NVMe · 5 TB
Enough for n8n with its Postgres and workflows triggered by webhook. If you turn on queue mode with several concurrent workers, move up to gp.starter.
Deploy gp.microWordPress and websites
1 vCPU · 2 GB RAM · 40 GB NVMe · 3 TB
Works well for a WordPress site with page caching and normal traffic. To host several sites on the same server or run a panel on top of it, gp.micro gives you room.
Deploy gp.nanoDatabases
8 vCPU · 16 GB RAM · 200 GB NVMe · 20 TB
RAM is what decides it on PostgreSQL or MySQL: 16 GB allows a serious buffer pool, so frequent queries never touch disk. When the dataset grows, gp.medium moves up to 32 GB and 300 GB.
Deploy gp.smallBots and APIs
1 vCPU · 2 GB RAM · 40 GB NVMe · 3 TB
A Telegram or Discord bot and a small API fit here with room to spare. Since billing is hourly, you can start on the smallest plan and resize the day the project takes off.
Deploy gp.nanoPanels like Coolify
4 vCPU · 8 GB RAM · 100 GB NVMe · 10 TB
Coolify, Dokploy or CapRover bring up their own Docker stack before deploying your first application. With 4 vCPU and 8 GB you get the panel plus several projects with their builds.
Deploy gp.starterAnd if you outgrow it
The General Purpose line goes up to gp.xxxlarge: 48 vCPU, 192 GB of RAM, 1 TB NVMe and 200 TB of traffic for $212.92 a month, available in Houston and Miami. You change plan without migrating provider.
Our own network: what it means for you
Two terms that show up on every hosting spec sheet and are almost never explained.
What AS26141 is
An autonomous system is the identifier a network uses to announce its own IP addresses to the internet. CubePath has its own, AS26141, and announces its ranges directly. When a provider has no autonomous system of its own, its servers live under another company's IPs: any upstream routing or policy change arrives inherited, with no room to react.
What BGP multihoming is
Each site is connected to several transit carriers at once, not to a single one. If a carrier goes down or gets congested, BGP recalculates and traffic leaves through another one without you having to do anything. It is the difference between depending on one cable and always having a second way out.
Where the servers are
| Site | Facility | Transit and peering | Who it serves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barcelona | Templus, Tier III | Cogent, GTT, NEAR IP and DE-CIX Barcelona | Spain, Portugal and southern Europe, with local egress at the Barcelona internet exchange. |
| Houston | TRG Datacenters, Tier III | Lumen, Cogent and GTT | The central and western United States, and Mexico by land proximity. |
| Miami | DataBank MIA1, Tier III | Cogent, NEAR IP and FL-IX | Latin America, which is where most of the region's traffic enters and leaves. |
Two more network points, without servers
Besides the three sites above, CubePath keeps network presence in Ashburn, Virginia (CoreSite VA1, with Cogent and GTT) and in Amsterdam (NIKHEF, with Cogent, GTT and NEAR IP, plus peering at Inter-IX, Speed-IX and Frys-IX). No servers are sold there: they shorten routes and improve latency towards the east coast of the United States and towards northern Europe.
Check it yourself
None of this has to be taken on trust. Our looking glass is public and lets you run ping, traceroute and BGP route queries from each site before signing up for anything.
