Barcelona is live as our first location. The facility is the Templus Barcelona data center, Tier III, and it is where the first CubePath racks, the first servers and the first BGP session all come up.
Barcelona is a deliberate choice. It is where Spanish traffic concentrates and a natural landing point for Southern Europe and North Africa, so being here keeps the round trip short for the customers closest to us instead of hauling their packets north to Frankfurt or Amsterdam first.
