Open the machine → ISOs tab.

Mounting an ISO makes the machine boot from that image instead of its disk. It's how you install an operating system we don't offer as a template, run a network appliance, or boot a rescue environment to repair a system that won't start.

The table lists every ISO available to your account with its name, size and a short description. Use the search field to filter by name.

The library covers the usual appliances and rescue tools, for example:

ISOWhat it's for
pfSense CEFirewall and router
VyOSRouting and firewall appliance
TrueNAS SCALEOpen-source NAS operating system
Clonezilla LiveDisk and partition imaging/cloning
MikroTik RouterOSRouter operating system
SystemRescueRescue and repair toolkit

Windows Server images are there too — search for Windows.

Mount an ISO

  1. 1
    Find the ISO
Search or scroll to the image you want.
  2. 2
    Click Mount
A confirmation dialog appears warning that the machine will restart.
  3. 3
    Confirm
Click Mount ISO. The machine restarts automatically and boots from the image.
  4. 4
    Open the console
Click Console in the machine header to drive the installer — an ISO boot has no SSH, so the browser console is your only way in.

Unmount

A mounted ISO shows a red Unmount button instead of Mount. Click it and confirm; the machine restarts again and boots from disk.

Request a custom ISO

Can't find what you need? The Request Custom ISO section at the bottom of the page opens a support ticket. We'll evaluate the request and, where feasible, add the image to your library.
