How to Mount ISOs on Your VPS

In this guide you'll learn how to mount and unmount ISO images on your VPS from the CubePath control panel. This allows you to manually install operating systems, recovery tools, firewalls, and more.

1. Access the ISOs Section

From your VPS dashboard, click on the ISOs tab in the top navigation bar.

2. Browse Available ISOs

You'll see a table with all available ISOs. Each one shows its name, size, and a short description. On the right side of each row you'll find the Mount button to mount it on your VPS.

Some of the available ISOs include:

  • VyOS – Routing and firewall appliance
  • pfSense CE – Firewall and router
  • TrueNAS SCALE – Open source NAS operating system
  • Clonezilla Live – Partition and disk imaging/cloning utility
  • Mikrotik – RouterOS
  • SystemRescue – System rescue and repair toolkit

3. Search for a Specific ISO

If you're looking for a specific ISO, use the search field in the top right corner. Type the name and the table will filter automatically.

4. Mount an ISO

Once you find the ISO you need, click the Mount button. A confirmation dialog will appear warning you that the VPS will automatically restart to boot from the ISO.

Click Mount ISO to confirm. Your VPS will restart and boot from the mounted ISO. From here, access your VPS console (the "Console" button in the top right corner) to proceed with the manual installation of the operating system or tool.

Note: You can only have one ISO mounted at a time. If you already have one mounted, you'll need to unmount it first.

5. Unmount an ISO

Once mounted, the ISO will appear in the table with a red Unmount button instead of Mount.

Clicking Unmount will show a similar confirmation dialog. The VPS will also automatically restart after unmounting the ISO.
